A real business that looked invisible online.

Timoya Farms had the products, the customers, and the operation. What it did not have was anything a new buyer could look up before deciding to place an order.

The problem

Agriculture businesses in Ghana often run on relationships. That works well until you want to grow beyond the people who already know you. A new buyer, a distributor, or an institutional customer will almost always look you up first, and finding nothing is worse than finding something modest.

Timoya Farms was in exactly that position. The operation was legitimate and the products were good, but there was no way to demonstrate either to someone at a distance.

  • No online presence for buyers to check before making contact
  • Product range explained verbally, differently each time
  • No professional reference point when approaching larger customers
  • Competitors with weaker operations appearing more established online

What we built

This did not need to be complicated, and pretending otherwise would have wasted the client's money. Timoya Farms needed a clear, fast, professional business website that showed the products and made contact easy. So that is what we built.

Hand-written HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, deployed on Netlify. No framework overhead for a site this size, which keeps it fast on the rural and mobile connections a lot of their buyers are on.

  • A product and services showcase that presents the full range in one place
  • Clear positioning above the fold, so a visitor knows what the business does immediately
  • Direct contact routes, so an interested buyer never has to hunt for a number
  • Fully responsive layout, built mobile-first
  • Lightweight build with no framework, so pages open fast on slow connections
HTML CSS JavaScript Netlify Mobile-first
Before
  • Nothing to find when a buyer searched
  • Product range explained by phone, every time
  • Growth capped by word of mouth
  • No reference point for larger customers
After
  • A professional site that shows up and holds up
  • Full product range documented in one place
  • Reachable by buyers who have never met them
  • A credible link to lead with in any pitch

The impact

Timoya Farms is the project we point to when a small business worries that a website is over-engineering. It is not a big site. It did not need to be. It needed to exist, load fast, and say the right things clearly.

The business now has an owned presence that works as a first impression for buyers who are not already in the network, which is the whole point of getting online in the first place.

Zero Framework overhead, so the site opens fast on rural connections
1 Clear place to send any new buyer or distributor
100% Responsive, built for the phones buyers actually use

Not every business needs a big website. Every business needs a real one.
